Flight of the Bumblebee

The wysteria and meyer’s lemon tree are both in bloom and with that comes the motherload of buzzing insects… bumblebees, honey bees, and wasps (no real buzz, but they seem to fit). Enjoy some macros I snuck of some of them!

The hidden gem of the trip – a little perfumery, the Perfumer’s Apprentice tucked away upstairs in Santa Cruz. Mix top notes, middle notes, and base notes and come home with your own perfume! Thanks to the shop owner for doting on us with flowering tea, shortbread cookies, and great instructions.
